KITCHEN POSITIONS  

Food Runner & Dishwasher

Job Summary:

HiHO Brewing Co. is looking for a hard working, detail oriented individual to join our kitchen team. Must have a passion for cooking and pride themselves in serving high quality food efficiently with great presentation. Looking for a team player with a positive customer service approach and a commitment to follow all food service safety guidelines.

Hours Available:

Wednesday 5-CL

Friday 5-CL

Saturday 5-CL

Sunday 12-CL

*Shifts worked during hours of service include tips.

Ability to work other planned shifts (or as requested to cover if available) and work planned special events.

The kitchen at HiHO does not have fryers, grills or microwaves, and is very clean. Items are made with real ingredients from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Expo-ing: checking the ticket to make sure all items are correct, taking the food to the designated table, naming the food as it is presented “Here is the cheese pizza, pork sliders, House salad without tomatoes…”

  • Taking the table number once ALL items have been delivered

  • Making sure the customers have everything they need (plates, cutlery, napkins) and telling them where to find those items

  • Walking through the taproom, clearing dishes, wiping down tables

  • Washing dishes and putting them away

  • Assisting in the opening/mid shift/ closing checklists

  • Greeting customers as they come in

These tasks may develop and evolve as the kitchen grows and changes

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures set by the state and HiHO guidelines

  • Team oriented with positive attitude, solution focused approach and desire to help others

  • Effective communication and customer service skills

  • Knowledge of health and kitchen safety rules

  • 18+

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time (6-8 hours)

  • Frequently lift up to 35 lbs., reach, bend, carry and pick up items

  • Work in close quarters with others

  • Neat and clean personal appearance to ensure positive customer experience following all health guidelines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15/ hour + tips

TAPROOM

BARTENDER 

Job Summary:

HiHO Brewing Co. is looking for a hardworking, service oriented individual to join our bartending team. Must have a passion for BEER, excellent customer service skills, and be a team player. 

We are looking for a PART TIME employee to work 20+ hours a week.
Part time employees receive a matching 401K (after 1 year), discounts on beer, food and merchandise!

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests

  • Use POS to complete orders

  • Pour beer properly in the correct glassware

  • Maintain quality control on beer - taste/ appearance 

  • Ability to work well in a team setting

  • Multi-Tasking and able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ensuring customers needs are met quickly and efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction/return rate 

  • maintaining a welcoming/positive taproom environment (cleanliness, music, temperature, tables space, lighting)

  • Able to follow instructions/checklists for opening and closing tasks

  • Talk about different beer/styles 

  • Keep a clean and organized work space

Qualifications:

  • Must be available nights/weekends Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 

  • Flexibility in schedule times and for events

  • Experience in the service industry

  • Knowledge of beer styles and brewing process is preferred and/or interest in learning more about beer and the brewing process 

  • Must be able to attend scheduled employee meetings

  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours

  • Must be able to lift 25lbs+
